In order to pay off back taxes, Count Dracula's Transylvanian castle is converted into a hotel which is run by his granddaughter Nocturna. While an American rock group is appearing in the hotel's club, Nocturna falls in love with one of the musicians. As she comes to believe that her feelings for him along with the band's music are turning her into a human being, her grandfather agrees, and strongly disapproves.
