Melissa Thorpe returns to her small hometown to settle her mother's estate, only to become the obsession of Johnny, the 12-year-old paperboy she mistakenly befriends. Seems he becomes psychotically jealous when Melissa takes up with an old flame and dead bodies become as common as old newspapers.
